Come sono fatte le tue scarpe?

Passo 1

Design: il primo passo per creare scarpe in pelle fatte a mano è ideare un design. Questo viene fatto disegnando la scarpa su carta o utilizzando un programma di progettazione assistita da computer (CAD).

Creazione del modello: una volta finalizzato il design, viene creato un modello. Il modello è il progetto per la scarpa e determina la forma e la dimensione di ogni pezzo di pelle che verrà utilizzato.

Taglio: la pelle viene tagliata nei vari pezzi necessari per realizzare la scarpa. Questo solitamente avviene a mano, utilizzando un coltello affilato o delle forbici.

Passo 2

Cucitura: i pezzi di pelle vengono poi cuciti insieme utilizzando diverse tecniche.

Lasting: una volta cucita insieme la scarpa, viene posizionata su una forma, che è una forma di legno che aiuta a dare forma alla scarpa. La scarpa viene quindi lasciata sulla forma per diversi giorni per consentirle di assumere la sua forma finale.

Rifinitura: può includere l'aggiunta di dettagli come fibbie o lacci, la lucidatura della pelle e l'aggiunta di eventuali ritocchi finali.
